Gilbert, Arizona

Gilbert Arizona hosts one of the IPRA's premier rodeos and I have been honored to attend this week.  Throughout the week myself and all of the Gilbert Days Rodeo Queens have visited a ton of schools and sponsors.  The school visits were so much fun - we were blessed to have Ryder Kissner join us throughout the week as well as Dan Foley.  Ryder is one of the most talented trick ropers today and Dan was the announcer for the rodeo.  The rodeo has been wonderful and I have been privilege to ride "Cole" - thanks to the Neese Family. One of this weeks highlight has been hanging out with Bailey Williams.  Bailey was last years Gilbert Queen and a great host. I have had a blast hanging out with her this week and appreciate her friendship.  My family was also able to come visit all the way from California.  I would like to thank my Mom, Dad, Aunt Linda & Uncle Fred for attending the rodeo and showing their support.  I was so nice being with family again.  I'll head home to Oklahoma tomorrow and would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you all enjoy the time you get to spend with your family.

The past few weeks

The past few weeks I have stayed pretty busy.  I was able to go to the cash for candy event at Dr J's.  It was a huge success.  Kids from all over Eastern Oklahoma brought their candy in the day after Halloween and exchanged it for cash.  $1 for 1 pound!  The candy that was gathered will be sent in care packages to our troops over sees.  It was so great to see so many kids give up their loot for our troops.

I then headed to the Fall Classic in Springfield, Missouri.  There was an amazing turn out and another great production by LR Productions and Hampton Rodeo Company.  Carissa Stewart joined me for the trip and we even were treated to breakfast by the IPRA President Dale Yearigan and his family.  Hello Garrett!  It was a ton of fun and it was so nice seeing everyone again.

Dr J Designs

One of my most generous sponsors is Dr. David Jones (Dr. J).  Dr. J is extremely talented in not only dentistry but he also is a whiz with computers.  He can create anything you could imagine.  This year Dr. J created my autograph sheet, post cards, flyer's, invitations and on top of that he does our entire Miss Rodeo USA Pageant Program. Dr. J offers his services to anyone and is extremely reasonable.  He is also willing to work with anyone. I have posted just some of Dr J's creations in my photo album - please check them out!
