Miss Rodeo USA

I made it back from Dallas and the car was alot more loaded down than when we arrived! I had a great time seeing everything but also meeting our generous sponsors that have been with the Miss Rodeo USA organization for a number of years like Corral Boots and Ariat. Also to meet new people who are coming on board such as C-R Ranch Wear, and the prospect that we will get more people involved in such a great organization. I am exhausted but today is another day and things need to be done. Karen Rosenthal called from Ariat and needs me!!!!

Yesterday was awesome! We arrived early and our first stop was Corral Boots. I was a kid in the candy store. I didn't see anything that I would love to have, all of their boots were amazing! Thank you Othel and George you guys are wonderful and I am so proud to be wearing your boots. We have also picked up a new sponsor that I am very excited about. CR ranch wear. This clothing line is made in the USA and is outside the box. Rhea is going to sponsor our pajama party during the pageant. I can't tell you how cool her pajama line is but she also makes great clothes and has set me up with so many great things. You can find her on the web under chandler pajamas.com. I'm in Dallas ready to hit market bright and early in the morning! I'm so excited about getting to see some of my sponsors in person instead of just speaking on the phone. Like Ariat, Corral Boots,and Carhartt!! Dee and Rick I wish I could deliver all my sponsor packets in person! And congratulations on your big win for Silver Dollar Farms. I am so proud!

Well not much going on this week. The normal things that people do like,.... laundry!!! Not my favorite thing! I spent my day with Amy and worked out at Flextime Fitness. Just want to send out a thank you to Candice for making my shirt in such a rush so I would have it for my first rodeo. Thank You! I have a Miss Rodeo USA email, it is krisitn@missrodeousa.com. Now I have it but it takes me a while to check it, I have to work out all the bugs.

Well I made it back to Oklahoma. I want to send out a special thanks to everyone with the rodeo at Huntsville, it was a good way to start off my year. Also thank you to Heather, Johna, Windy, Myle, who went out of their way to help me. I get to hang out for the next week, then its off to market! I'm so excited!!!

I made it through my first performance! The weather was wet and dreary,but that didn't dampen the spirits of the crowd. We had world champions and top class performers. I have faith that Saturday and Sunday's performance will be just as great! A special thanks to Wendy who keep me on great horse and still managed to pull off a great opening and she is an amazing trick rider. Can't wait to tell you guys about the rest of my weekend!
