Miss Rodeo USA
This 4th of July was great! I drove to Caraway Arkansas and as small as the roads were getting to my destination it proved to be a great rodeo! I actually saw a sign for a town with population 59! I had to stop and take a picture ao that people would believe me! Thursday I met my host family the Emery's who welcomed me with open arms. I got to sleep in Grayson's room that great toys he left for me to play with. The rodeo kicked off at 7:00 pm and I enjoyed every minute of it. I carried sponsor flags and it was fun being on horseback the whole time. Friday I woke up for the parade got all dressed up not thinking that it could rain, but half way through the parade there it was RAIN!! And all that effort was lost I looked like a wet rat!! With all that rain it did make for a very interesting rodeo Friday night. And for the first time in a very long time I was embarrassed I was pulled by the funny man (Dusty Myers) to help him with his act! My cheeks were beyond red! But all in all we had a great time mud and all! Thank you Johnson Rodeo Company for a great show, my host family the Emery's, Merrit, Michelle, Grayson, and the rest of the family, and also my rodeo family that watches out for me regardless and is always there for me!
Meeting you was great. You are a blast to be around and made me feel better when my horse stopped in the middle of the arena. I hope you get to visit again. Love Dorie and the Wynnewood Round Up Club. We thank you for your time hope to see you soon Happy Trails.
