Kristin Scott Miss Rodeo USA 2008
How do you put into words the emotions I felt when they called out my name? After a full week of interviews, modeling, questions, and horsemanship I was in shock and awe when they said my name. This pageant has taught me more about myself than I ever thought possible! I just want to send out a special thank you to everyone who sponsors, and volunteers to make this pageant possible without you it would not be the same. Thank you to my sponsors and rodeo committee for your support and encouragement. I want to thank my family for everything they have done to help me get this far! And to everyone I encourage you to all "branch out" and try new things, I did and now I'm living my dream as Miss Rodeo USA 2008!!!
Congratulations Kristin! I am so proud to have you as my Miss Rodeo USA sister! This past week was extremely grueling and you continued to shine day after day. I know you will have a wonderful year. To all of the 2008 contestants, I want to say thank you for making this week truly amazing. Each and every one of you have touched my life and my heart and I am honored to have met each of you. I hope that every contestant will return to their home with a fire in their heart to keep the great sport of rodeo shining for many years to come and to keep reaching for their goals each and every day. Congrats Kristin Im so proud of you. As i recall you talked to me about the crown almost everyday i seen you. Well now you got it i cant wait to see you. It must be thrilling to accomplish something you want more than anything. You have inspired me to reach for my goals of becoming a professionalist in horsemanship I miss you my friend.
